The Only Thing Missing

When Jesus died on the cross for our sins, it was for each and every one of us. Jesus has absolutely no respect to person and His word does not change depending on the person, situation, or circumstance. God does not err and has a purpose and plan for each person. However, God also gave us a free will.

Matthew 7:8 (King James Version)

8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

It is up to each of us to seek Him, and the door to Him will be opened. While it is true that God knows our heart, it is also true that we must ask before we can receive. It is through this manner in which we will increase our relationship with God, through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The only thing that is missing is you.

1 John 5:12 (King James Version)

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

When you have Jesus, you will have everlasting life. Choose the path of Jesus and always allow the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and direct your path so that you can stay in the perfect will of God.

God's Theory

Mercy is when God grants leniancy towards us when we are disobedient to HIS word. It is a good thing, because we deserve death. God decides when and who will be granted his mercy. Therefore, never take God's mercy for granted because it may or may not be granted. God is soverign and does not have to explain himself to us.

Jude 1:21 (King James Version)

21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

Always know the love of God is in your life and that you have eternal life in Christ Jesus.

1 Peter 1:3 (King James Version)

3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

There is always hope in us through the abundant mercy with God, through Jesus. Thank God for mercy, because in our flesh dwells no good thing.

It's So Easy

So many people make accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior something so much more difficult than it is in reality. It is just a decision that you make for yourself. Jesus did the most difficult part for us when HE died for our sins when we deserved death.

Romans 10:9 (King James Version)

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

All you have to do is trust in your heart that Jesus is your Lord and Savior and you will be saved. It doesn't mean that you will never make mistakes again, but it does mean that you repent and seek the face of Jesus first.

John 3:16 (King James Version)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Know that you know, God gave His Son, Jesus Christ, so that we can have everlasting life. It's so easy, so just accept him into your heart.

What Happens In Vegas God Sees

I just so happen to live in Vegas which so many people have coined "Sin City" How can a Christian possibly have anything to do with a city that carries a name like that? When I used to live back east, I can remember seeing commercials for Vegas bragging that what happens in Vegas...stays in Vegas. The commercials alluded to the viewers that they could visit Vegas, and engage in whatever activities, no matter how morally wrong they might be, and then go back home with no one the wiser.

The truth is that the commercials failed to tell the viewers that no matter what we do, there is someone who does see and know everything that happens. God! People may be able to hide or cover up some of the things they may be doing from their friends or their family, however God sees all and one day we all will be held accountable for everything we did or failed to do, whether man caught us in the act or not. One of the attributes of God is that He is omnipresent which means that He has the ability to be everywhere at once. There is no place where man can hide from God. (Jeremiah 23:23-24)

God Is Good 24/7

When times are good, it is very easy to say that God is good. However, when times are difficult, you still have to be able to say that God is still good. It is not for to understand why God does certain things. If we understood everything that God did, is doing, and will do then God would not have to exist because we would already know everything in life.

Mark 10:18 (King James Version)

18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God.

Always know in your heart that God wants the absolute best for us in our lives, but we must continue to always remember that He is our source. Whatever you do, do not allow your circumstances, situations, trials and tribulations keep you away from the word of God.

Romans 8:28 (King James Version)

28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

We are continuously taught repitiously that God's love is unconditional. Put on the whole armor of God and know that he is soverign and knows what is best for us at all times. God is good even in the face of difficult times, so always keep HIS praises in your mouth.

For God So Loved The World

The word of God continuously teaches us that we are to give to others. When we make the sacrifice of giving to others then it will be blessed by God.

Acts 20:35 (King James Version)

35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

God loved the world so much that He gave us his Son, Jesus Christ. When we give to others we need to make sure that it is our absolute best. When we make the decision to believe in Jesus Christ we will have everlasting life. That is the best gift that God gave to each and every one of us.

John 3:16 (King James Version)

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Never forget that Jesus died on the cross for everyone, but first God had to give Jesus to us. When God calls on you to give, make sure you give your absolute best with a clean heart. You reap what you sow. Stop being so focused on what you will receive. Giving has absolutely nothing to do with recognition, fame, or fortune. The body of Christ is only as good as the weakest member.

Make The Connection

There are so many times in life when we will be faced with difficulty. However, we must make the connection with Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savoir. The difficulty comes when we try to figure things out for ourselves. We become confused and we know that God is not the author of confusion. We are taught quite simply in the word of God that we are not to trust in ourselves.

Proverbs 3:5 (King James Version)

5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

When we become Christians, we must understand that Jesus is our standard and absolutely nothing less is acceptable. There are several scriptures in the Bible about trusting Jesus, therefore it is quite obvious that we must follow Jesus.

John 14:6 (King James Version)

6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Until you make the connection with these two and others similiar to them, you will always have confusion within your life. Be encouraged to trust in Jesus in every aspect of your life large and small and take everything to Jesus.

Salvation - Been There Done That

Salvation is something that as Christians we all must complete. Be proud to say that you have your salvation and knowing that you are going to heaven. When others see that you are proud to say that you have your salvation, they may be much more eager for you to be a witness to them and bring them to Christ Jesus.

Having your salvation simply means that you always keep the trinity of God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit first and foremost in your life. It also means that you have a heart of repentance and turn from sin and ask for forgiveness.

Acts 16:31 (King James Version)

31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Stop making being saved something more than it has to be. It is a free gift from God. We have given our salvation, so we have been there and done that already. Now it is time to continue building on our salvation as we continue to grow in our relationship with God, through Jesus Christ.

God's Love Never Fails

So many times in life, people will place conditions on their love for you. The world is extremely conditional in their love for other people. The love of God is something that you can always count on in all times and is 100% unconditional. God loved us before the foundation of the world, before we were even put in our mother's womb.

Always, always seek God first because HE will love you when the world throws you out. Put your heart into God and HE will show forth HIS love at all times.

Deuteronomy 31:8 (New International Version)

8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."

God will always be there for you at all times and HIS love will never fail. God is the one that gave us love, therefore God is LOVE. If you ever have any doubt, read about God's love enduring forever in Psalms 136. HE reigns forever!

Stuck On Jesus

There will be times when, as Christians, we will be put in situations, circumstances, and face trials and tribulations when Jesus will test us. There will be times when we must continue to be stuck on Jesus. We must be known by our fruits.

John 15:4 (King James Version)

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

We must always abide in Jesus at all times, without Jesus we will not bear fruit. If you do not have a relationship with Jesus then when times of difficulty arise, you will not have anything to hold on to. As you continue to grow closer to God, cleanse your hands and purify your hearts and God will come closer to you.

James 4:8 (King James Version)

8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify must allow God to live in you and abide by HIS word and HE will draw more and more near to you. We are all sinners, but we must continue to be stuck on God, through Jesus Christ.< your hearts, ye double minded.

Salvation Is As Easy As ABC

So many times people think that salvation is something that is difficult or complex. Absolutely nothing can be further from the truth. Salvation really is as simple as ABC.

In 2 Samuel 22:3 (King James Version)

3 The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; thou savest me from violence.

A - Simply means that you ACCEPT Christ as your savior. Christ is where you turn for all direction in your life. The word is where you turn for answers to every problem, trial, and tribulation. You know that HE can do all things and that he loves you without condition and you love him without condition.

B - BELIEVE in your heart that Christ died for your sins. You know that you must repent and turn away from your sins and that you have been forgiven. You can now become a new creature in Christ. In Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

C - CONFESS that Christ is Lord. You must confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Christ is Lord, the Way, the Truth, and the Light. You understand that the word of God is uncompromising and must be obeyed.

You can have salvation if you follow ABC. It does not mean that you will never make mistakes, but that you always turn to Christ and continue to live a righteous life.
